Measuring an incredible 18 feet wide x 20 feet tall x 80 feet deep, DivCon’s new state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly spray booth can easily paint very large volumes of trucks and large equipment in record time.
The booth’s filtered ceiling is designed with high efficiency intake filters to remove dust and dirt before it contaminates the paint booth. This provides a cleaner environment for a high quality paint job. The air is simultaneously removed through a filtered exhaust pit located in the floor of the booth. As a result, the air is pulled vertically downward from the ceiling to the floor at an average velocity of approximately 50 fpm. Our intake and exhaust filter layout also creates a consistent air velocity throughout the booth’s working area, which is of paramount importance in achieving a superior paint job.
Our 12-wheel automated PangBorn RotoBlast room — also the largest in the area — complements our huge new spray booth. So now the really big stuff can be both prepped AND painted in record time, at the same facility.
In addition to our many other initiatives to reduce the impact that our operations have on the environment, DivCon is proud of the fact that our new state-of-the-art spray booth thoroughly filters exhaust air. A high ventilation rate ensures that the solid particles and flammable vapors are confined to the inside of the spray booth.
